Privacy policy
This page describes what data AI Trading Bots collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. We try to keep it plain — no boilerplate fog.
Who we are
AI Trading Bots is operated by The Editorial Group (placeholder organisation name pending real entity confirmation), the publisher of aitradingbots.cc. We are an editorial site — we do not sell, custody, or trade crypto on behalf of users. For data requests, contact [email protected].
What we collect
We collect the smallest amount of data we can while still running a website. Specifically:
- Standard server logs. Every visit produces an entry containing your IP address, your browser user-agent string, the URL you requested, and the timestamp. These logs are used to debug errors, detect abuse, and produce aggregate visitor counts. We do not link this data to a personal identity.
- Optional analytics. If you have not opted out, we run a privacy-respecting analytics script (Plausible by default; GA4 only if specifically enabled) that records page views and referrers. No personal identifier is set in a cookie — Plausible is cookieless. You can verify this by inspecting our HTML.
- Cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies (none, currently, unless you contact us via a future form). If analytics is upgraded to a cookie-based provider, we will publish a consent banner before the change ships.
- No PII forms. This site does not currently host a newsletter, account system, or contact form. If you email us, we retain that correspondence in our editorial inbox for the duration of the conversation plus reasonable archival.
Affiliate links and UTM parameters
We link to third-party products. Many of those links carry UTM parameters or affiliate IDs that the destination site uses to attribute the visit to us. The destination operates under its own privacy policy from the moment you click — we do not share any personal information with them. The UTM tag itself is not personal: it tells the destination that the visit came from aitradingbots.cc, not who you are.
Third parties
The third parties involved in operating this site are:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes requests at the network edge and may retain short-lived logs for security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
- Analytics provider — Plausible (cookieless) by default; GA4 only if explicitly enabled in our build configuration. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We aggregate the data they return; we do not export individual sessions.
- Affiliate partners — only when you click through. They operate under their own privacy policies once you reach their site.
- Email providers — if you email us, the message transits standard email infrastructure (likely Google Workspace or a similar provider), subject to that provider's privacy policy.
Your data rights (GDPR / similar)
If you are a resident of the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive data rights, you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing or restrict it.
- Request data portability (export of your data in a portable format).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent substantive change. Cosmetic edits do not change that date; new third parties, new data flows, or new cookie usage do.
